This is recipe to start with: read here. Bake as usual and cut the cold cake in half horizontally to yield 2 layers. Brush the cake layer with 1/4 cup (60 ml) cherry syrup. Whip cream add kirsch black cherries and spread between layers, spread the remaining cream over top and sides of cake. Decorate with cherries and sprinkle chocolate. I used amarene sour cherries in syrup.
