Dragon flower

Snapdragon Snapdragons make cute flowers, but when the seed pods dry, they look weird like tiny skulls. Also known as the dragon flower, its common name derives from the resemblance of the flower to a dragon’s head. fuzzy wuzzy brown snapdragon seed heads 🙂 One Word Photo Challenge: Dragon

Pretend play

Pretend play is a creative act and some creativity researchers have identified that pretend play in childhood affects the development of creativity in adulthood. Pretend play was my favorite such as pretending to be astronaut landing on the moon, exploring fantasy cosmos. Other favorite was pretending orchestra leader, I had orchestra of fantasy musicians, and audience of my dolls. Sometimes I pretended I play violin or piano. (on the radio classical music was played in the background). I still admire great conductors and astronauts. Other fun was pretend play giving different voices to my teddy bears and dolls.  🙂 What was your favorite pretend play in childhood? The Daily Prompt: Pretend


  Pansies and Violas are flowers for all seasons, dependable and gorgeous! Purple Showers violas, flowers with cheerful faces and slightly fragrant. Petunias Beautiful and fragrant purplish petunias get their unusual color from a molecular defect in the system that controls the acidity of the plants’ cells. Petal cells are known for big differences in pH in various compartments of cells. Wisteria, often called the queen of flowering vines. The blooms are gorgeous and very fragrant. Fuchsia is purple at maximum brightness.   Purple is the color of royalty. In the traditional color wheel used by painters, violet and purple are both placed between red and blue.
