Chocolate walnut cake

Chocolate walnut cake One-bowl or mix-in-the-pan type of cake – all the ingredients are just mixed together, right in the cake pan. (I find it much easier to mix the ingredients together in a separate bowl). Old-fashioned cake recipes have a special beauty. This cake has a soft and fluffy texture with rich chocolate flavor while a  walnuts adds a crunchy surprise, that almost doesn’t need frosting. If you like you can just dust the top of the cake with a little powdered sugar or cocoa powder and serve it on its own. Here is used whip cream frosting and melted chocolate, very lightly. Ingredients: 1 cup (150g) flour, sifted 1/3 cup (50g) cocoa, sifted 1 cup (220g) caster sugar 1/3 cup (80g) butter, softened 1/2 cup (125ml) milk 2 eggs 2 tbsp chopped walnuts 1 tsp vanilla extract 1 tbsp baking powder a pinch of salt Method: Preheat the oven to 180C.
